How it works
Five steps, and you only pay at step three.
Most of the work happens before you have spent anything. We look first, we show you what we would do, and only then do we ask.
- Step 01
We look at the site you have now.
Ten checks, listed below. Each one is a plain yes or no. You get the score and the failures in words you can act on, whether or not you ever hire us. If we cannot check something we say so - we never guess and call it a finding.
- Step 02
We send you a private preview built for your business.
Not a template with your logo dropped in. A real page for your business, on a private link, with a functionality brief attached: a plain-language list of what the new site will DO for you - take the booking, send the quote, ring the phone, show the reviews. Nothing goes public without your written permission.
- Step 03
We quote it, and you say yes.
One price, scoped to that brief, so you can see exactly what you are buying before you agree to it. Everything up to this point is free and you are under no obligation. If you want to talk the number through, you talk it through with David.
- Step 04
We shoot it, then we build it.
We come to you with cameras. Your team, your shop, your boats, your bench, the work actually happening. Then the site gets built around those pictures instead of around somebody else’s.
- Step 05
We keep it alive.
Updates, backups, monitoring, small changes, and someone watching whether the thing is still doing its job. That is the care plan, and it is why we would rather deliver a site than hand over a folder.
The audit
This is the whole audit. There is nothing else behind it.
- It loads securely, with a padlock and no browser warning.
- It works on a phone without pinching and dragging.
- It looks like somebody has touched it in the last two years.
- Your email is at your own domain, not a gmail address.
- You own the address - not a wixsite.com or a Facebook page.
- Your phone number taps to call, and your hours and address are on the page.
- There is a way to actually reach you: a form or a booking, not just a mailto link.
- What you do - and roughly what it costs - is written down.
- Your reviews are on your own site, not only on Google.
- Googling your name and your town puts you in the top three.
